In game economy

I really hope that they think the in game economy out and it doent turn into SWG. what do you guys think?

Honestly, I liked the SWG economy when it first began. People would look long and hard for certain resources and I remember waiting for 2 weeks for a pistol to be custom made.

However, in interviews, the devs have stated that though there will be a crafting component in the game, it'll be based much like that of WOW where you have a primary class and then some secondary crafting/gathering type class to back it up. They've also stated that it'll be loot-dependent, so there won't be too much in the way of customization, at least for the crafting.

yeah at first SWG economy was fine but for example at first a unit of wood would cost 1000 credits but then maybe a year later of the SWG economy inflated the same unit would be sold for 1,000,000 credits

I don't think we'll have to worry about resource inflation for this game, but finding the loot needed to make certain things will almost certainly require guild-wide involvement and/or waiting for dungeon queues. Frankly, I don't know if I can handle waiting for 2 hours for some squiggly-beast to respawn just so that guild #5 in line can have a shot at it before us because we're #11 in line...


Might just drive me insane, what with the things not exploding and all.

well lets hope that the respawn time isnt that long and if we are 11th in line then we will just use our lightsabers and blasters to make us 1st in line. eh? lol

To me economics is a pritty huge thing when it comes to playing mmos, like in wow somtimes its realy hard to find materials and u hav to traval half the world around just to get it. Then when u get it , it makes u go through like 200 guys just to get one or two pieces but i guess tht pritty fun ,i guess.

Who is call?

They are a sith guild that is our first enemy that we are fighting when the game starts. This is because the leader of there guild got in a fight with mb ,so there you go.

They seem to be a bit smaller than us, and sense sith don't work very well with each other we have the upper hand in that combat situation.

Good point, sith work well only with partners or to lone wolf it.

The call are a bunch of smart @#@ sith who think they can trash talk the republic. So i declared them official enamies of the republic. They are number one on our list as well as five other republic guilds that each have over 80 players. The call only have thirty members.
